‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Has Not Cast Ian Somerhalder, Henry Cavill, Or Theo James, Despite Reports

Although Ian Somerhalder, Henry Cavill, and Theo James have been mentioned as possible candidates to play the role of Jack Hyde in Fifty Shades Darker, it doesn’t look like any of them will be cast for the role. In fact, according to E! Online, producers for the Fifty Shades of Grey sequel have not even started casting.
“We’re nowhere near casting,” Dana Brunetti revealed during the 2015 Emmys. “We haven’t gotten into anything like that. We don’t even have a casting director on it yet.”
While Brunetti admitted that they are still early in the process of producing the film, he went on to address some of the rumors that have been surfacing concerning Hyde’s character.
“It’s so insane,” he stated in the interview. “Somebody posts something on some obscure blog and then it gets picked up by something a little less obscure and it keeps going. Fans are starting the news by saying things like [the Cavill casting].”
At a certain level, fan speculation can be blamed for some of the rumors, but Cavill didn’t exactly do his best at stopping the reports. In a past interview with E! News, the Man of Steel star was particularly vague when asked about his involvement in the film.
“Basically what I can say is I can’t say anything about it right now,” Cavill said, before later clearing things up and confirming that he would not be included in the project.
Meanwhile, now that we know that casting is still a ways off for Fifty Shades Darker, Charlize Theron’s involvement in the film is now in doubt, especially after her recent comments during a red carpet event.
“I haven’t heard that one,” she stated after being asked about playing Ms. Robinson in the movie. “I’m learning so much about myself on this red carpet.”
Although producers are still behind on casting, they have selected a director to helm the next few films in the erotic franchise. With that in mind, James Foley, known for his work on Netflix’s House of Cards, will be directing the next two Fifty Shades movies.
At the same time, both Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan will be returning to play the parts of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed. The films are adaptations of the highly successful novels by E.L. James. The first sequel is set to hit theaters on February 10, 2017.

Ian Somerhalder Jealous Of Nina Dobrev, Austin Stowell’s Relationship? ‘Vampire Diaries’ Actor’s Ex Fakes Romance To Piss Nikki Reed’s Husband Off [RUMORS]

Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev and Nikki Reed are seemed to be following the never-ending connection of the infamous vampirish exes Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. According to the latest claims, the former "The Vampire Diaries" costars and real-life exes allegedly have not moved on from their past relationship despite new romances.
Ever since Ian Somerhalder and Nina Nobrev's breakup in May 2013, rumors have it that despite having newfound romances with Nikki Reed and Austin Stowell respectively, the ex-lovers are actually still hung up on their issues. According to Youth Health Magazine, some Hollywood onlookers still believe that Dobrev's relationship with Stowell is just a scheme to make her ex-lover and his wife jealous. They also claimed that the Bulgarian-born actress allegedly thinks that making 36-year-old Somerhalder and Reed believe that she has finally moved on will infuriate them.
While Ian Somerhalder is now happily married to former "Twilight" star Nikki Reed, Nina Dobrev is also creating a new life with boyfriend Austin Stowell, out of the shadow of her former lover and his wife. However, Dobrev and Stowell's PDA-filled sightings are apparently just for a show to benefit both their careers.
"All this PDA and perfectly timed romance seems to align with Nina's push for another career-making role," Celeb Dirty Laundry claimed. "Dobrev was set on a movie career, but hasn't had any project offers. Rumors claim she is now adjusting her goals and is desperate for a role on big show like, 'True Detective' or 'Empire.'"
In spite of the incessant rumors claiming their relationship is fake, Ian Somerhalder's former ladylove Nina Dobrev, 26, and current boyfriend Austin Stowell looked very much in love. In fact, they happily flaunted their romance with passionate PDAs during their tropical and pristine ocean adventure in St. Tropez, just after her "TVD" exit. Movie News Guide also noted the sighting of the lovely couple at the New York Fashion Week.
In addition, "The Final Girls" star and her beau were also seen at the wedding of Kayla Ewell and Tanner Novlan and during Eli Mizrahi's Founding Member launch dinner party, where they looked inseparable and smitten with each other.
"You can tell how much they love each other just by the way they speak and their mannerisms toward one another," a source told E! News. "Austin is such a gentleman and treats Nina with such respect!"
Meanwhile, Ian Somerhalder's ex Nina Dobrev recently slammed the rumors of her apparent comeback in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7.
"That chapter is closed, sadly - bittersweet," she told Entertainment Weekly. However, she added that she can't wait to see the new season and that she'll be watching since she's very excited for her friends.

Nina Dobrev Reveals She Likes To Walk Naked Around Her House

Hey, at least she’s being honest! Nina Dobrev is human and, like many humans, she likes to walk around her home in her most natural state: nude! You have to read what the sexy star said about baring it all– in the comfort of her own home of course!

Nina Dobrev, 26, evidently knows how hot she is. The former Vampire Diaries star was asked what her favorite at-home getup is and, unlike us who would have probably said the ugliest sweatpants imaginable, Nina pulled a Marilyn and went with the sexiest answer of all: nothing!

Speaking with reporters at the Go90 Sneak Peek Social Entertainment Platform Event on Sept. 24, Nina was asked what exactly she likes to wear at home. “Sweat pant or T-shirts– or nothing at all!” Nina responded (inevitably killing one or two reporters).
That’s not all the gorgeous gal dished, though. Nina was also asked, somewhat unseasonably, her most terrible holiday story– and it will make you laugh. “One year I decided to ship all my gifts instead of bringing them all with me and they didn’t arrive ’til two weeks later so they got sent to everyone’s destination and everyone had a second Christmas!” she said. Um, Nina, you know that’s like, not terrible at all, right? That’s actually magical and low-key straight out of a Hallmark Christmas movie.
Nina also shared what the most recent TV show she watched was. Like us, she’s totally hooked on TNT’s Public Moral! “I love it and I have friends on that show and Ed Burns is brilliant,” she said. “And I love the show!” Well, you already said that, Nina, but we love it enough to say it twice, too, so we can forgive you!

Best Looks of the Week: Nina Dobrev's Red Floral Dress, Jessica Chastain's Statement Emerald Earrings & More!

The 2015 Emmys and New York Fashion Week are behind us (don't worry, the runways are still rolling in Milan and, soon, Paris), but that doesn't mean there are any less lovely dresses for us to ogle on the streets and red carpet.
Take Selena Gomez, who launched an epic London style parade in a textured sequin dress from Preen (she wore the frock with a very English complement of black tights and platform heels). And that wasn't the only look we liked from her whirlwind trip across the pond (no really, she wore four in one day).

And finally, Nina Dobrev turned heads at the go90 Social Entertainment Platform party in Los Angeles on Sept. 24 in a trendy red floral dress by one of our pretty frock designer-favorites, Lela Rose.

Nina Dobrev Ian Somerhalder Nikki Reed Update: Relationship With Austin Stowell Is Only A Ploy To Make Ex Jealous

Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are still being talked about by various news outlets, even if they have all moved on from the past. However, new rumors have pointed out that they could actually still be hung up in their issues.
Celebrity Dirty Laundry is convinced that Dobrev's relationship with Austin Stowell is just a ploy to make her former boyfriend and his new wife jealous. Apparently, she believes that making Somerhalder and Reed believe that she has moved on will piss them off.
"It would certainly be an easy way to seemingly end the constant association with Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed," said an insider. It looks like dating Stowell will benefit Dobrev in more ways than one. In addition to proving to the public and the press that she does not want to be connected to Somerhalder and Reed anymore, it may also be an effective way of making the other couple jealous of her newfound happiness.
Dobrev and Stowel were recently seen together during Eli Mizrahi's Founding Member launch dinner party. Despite rumors that their relationship is only a ploy and that they do not really have any feelings for one another, an eyewitness has revealed that the couple looked very much in love.
"You can tell how much they love each other just by the way they speak and their mannerisms toward one another," the insider told EOnline. "Austin is such a gentleman and treats Nina with such respect!"
The International Business Times has reported that Dobrev has already moved on from "The Vampire Diaries" as well and that she is looking forward to expanding her career ventures. According to the report, she has plans of landing a major role in "True Detective" and "Empire." "All this PDA and perfectly timed romance seems to align with Nina's push for another career-making role," said the source.

Ian Somerhalder, Wife Nikki Reed Share Emotional Battle For Animal Rights While Ex ‘Vampire Diaries’ Star Nina Dobrev Is Excited For CW Show

"Vampire Diaries" hunky actor Ian Somerhalder is the proud founder of the Ian Somerhalder Foundation and "Twilight" star Nikki Reed is the proud wife, co-advocate and supporter of her husband's conservationist endeavors.
Ahead of the Season 7 premiere of the vampire-themed CW series, Somerhalder and Reed took to social media to share a heart-breaking documentary they did with 21 Icons founder, photographer and filmmaker Adrian Stern.
On Tuesday, Nina Dobrev's ex-boyfriend shared the teaser clip about rhinos poaching on his Instagram account captioning it with words like "This story must be told!" and "Change comes from you. From us." The Damon Salvatore actor also singled that what poachers do to rhinoceros is "senseless killing."
Later, Somerhalder shared a snap of him showing his arm that has the hashtag "#HopeForRhinos" written from his first to his forearm. The small screen actor's caption this time is a lengthy message that is calling for support to spare the rhinos from poachers.
On the same day, Somerhalder's wife, Nikki Reed also shared the same clip on her social media account but captioned it differently. She wrote: "In honor of #WorldRhinoDay I'd like to share something very special with all of you. The story of Hope is one that will stay with you forever. This film I am producing along with @adriansteirn is the most brutally honest depiction of what is happening daily on our planet to animals we love, animals we need, and animals who need us...we just don't know it. Help us save the rhino, help us save ourselves. What we do to them we do to ourselves.
#HopeForRhinos."
Both Somerhadler and Reed are asking for donations for their advocacy, and they are asking people to send them to Ryot.org, an American media company that focuses on cause-based actions. It was founded in 2012.
Somerhalder's Ian Somerhalder Foundation has partnered with RYOT to increase awareness on rhinoceros poaching. On the About page of Ian's foundation website, it is stated there that the organization sees no "differentiation between all living things: trees, rivers, animals and humans. We are all one interdependent organism."
Apart from advocating animal rights, Somerhalder is also busy filming for the upcoming season of The CW's "Vampire Diaries," which is now on its seventh run on national TV.
Meanwhile, Somerhalder's ex Nina Dobrev has expressed her excitement over the upcoming season of the show which she is not a part of anymore after bidding farewell to the cast and crew last season.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Dobrev said, "I can't wait to see what the new season will look like. I'll be watching. I'm very excited for my friends."
For fans of the series who are still hoping for an Elena-Damon reunion however, Dobrev set the record straight when she said, "That chapter is closed, sadly — bittersweet."
Catch the premiere of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 this Fall on Oct. 8.

Nina Dobrev Says She Will Not Return To ‘Vampire Diaries’ Season 7, But Plans To Watch The New Episodes

It looks like Elena will be in a coma for a long time. Actress Nina Dobrev confirmed that she will not appear in “The Vampire Diaries” Season 7. When she was asked about the possibility of appearing in upcoming episodes, the 26-year-old nixed the idea.
“That chapter is closed, sadly – bittersweet,” she told Entertainment Weekly.
Dobrev was written out of “The Vampire Diaries” in the Season 6 finale. Her character Elena was cursed to stay asleep as long as her best friend Bonnie (Kat Graham) was alive. The Sleeping Beauty-like spell was specifically used to allow the actress to come back. Several cast members pointed that out while promoting the show, which may have gotten some fans’ hopes up.
“I think that’s what’s fun about this series. You never know when characters are going to leave, you never know when they’re going to come back,” Candice King teased to MTV in July. “That’s been a constant for six seasons, now. So the fact that, for such a big departure, that it is left open-ended, is really true to the show.”
CW President Mark Pedowitz said that Dobrev is welcome to come back to the show, but the focus would remain on new characters in Season 7. “We would have loved Nina to stay,” Pedowitz said, TV Line reports. “She did a great job for the six years she was on the show and she’s welcome anytime she wants to come back.”
It’s the focus on the other characters that makes Dobrev excited. The Canadian admitted that she is going to tune in when the drama returns. “I can’t wait to see what the new season will look like,” Dobrev told EW. “I’ll be watching. I’m very excited for my friends.”
When “TVD” Season 7 premieres, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline (King) will have a major romantic storyline while Bonnie (Graham) helps Damon (Ian Somerhalder) mourn the loss of Elena. Of course, they’ll have to balance their personal drama with saving the town. Lily’s (Annie Wersching) Heretics will be wreaking havoc on Mystic Falls.
“The Vampire Diaries” Season 7 premieres Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.

Celebrity Get The Look: Nina Dobrev Retro Hairstyle at the 2015 Creative Arts Emmy Awards

Loving the hairstyles of days gone by and looking to channel a cool throwback style? Actress Nina Dobrev offered up the the perfect inspiration with her latest look at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards last weekend. Stylist Riawna Capri shared her super easy steps for nailing this perfect look. Add this to your styling repertoire, stat!
- First start off by blow-drying your hair and giving it a smooth finish by using a round brush.
- Next, take the top section of your hair line directly above the forehead and place a roller in this section for a little extra voluminous lift.
- Then, take the section of hair from the part to your ear, smooth it back and place it over behind your ear.
- Now use a small elastic to tie back the hair, but while doing so, also be sure to grab a small section of hair right where you would place the hair tie. This will help to keep the hair tie stay stable and tucked away without the use of a bobby pin.
- At the crown of your head, back-comb only at the root to create a fountain for the volume- Use a 1 ¼-inch curling iron to achieve the same, soft glamorous curls like Riawna did for Nina.
- Be sure to use a bristle brush to shape the curls and to create more softness in the curls.
- And lastly, follow up with hairspray for full coverage, but not too much that leads to the hair looking and feeling stiff.
And your throwback is created! Liking this style? Let us know if it's worth a try with a note below!

Nina Dobrev 'can't wait' for the new season of The Vampire Diaries

Nina Dobrev may have left The Vampire Diaries but the actress says she will definitely tune in when the show returns to The CW on Oct. 8.
“I can’t wait to see what the new season will look like,” she says. “I’ll be watching. I’m very excited for my friends.” One thing the actress won’t be doing, however, is appearing on it. “That chapter is closed, sadly – bittersweet,” she says.
Dobrev announced she was leaving the series back in April, and discussed her exit at the Teen Choice Awards in August. “Just like Elena, I started the show as a young girl, and together we grew up,” Dobrev said during the awards show. “We’ve grown up and over the last six years we’ve become women. These were six incredible years that I’ve had the pleasure of sharing with all of you guys. I wouldn’t be here with you. I wouldn’t be here without Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson. They changed my life with this role. Sorry. Three roles. Four roles. It’s hard to keep track these days.”
The good news for fans of the actress? Dobrev can soon be seen in horror-comedy The Final Girls (out Oct. 9) playing a blunt-speaking character named Vicki who finds herself trapped in a Friday the 13th-esque slasher movie called Camp Bloodbath. “She doesn’t have a censor,” Dobrev says of the role. “She’s like, ‘This guys’s gonna kill me, we need a f—ing chainsaw, we need to do this!’”

Nina Dobrev To Star In 'The Notebook' Series After Ditching 'Vampire Diaries' Season 7?

Fans are still hoping that Nina Dobrev would somehow return to "Vampire Diaries" season 7, following her heartbreaking exit from the show.
And while she already ended any speculations of her return, there have been reports that her ex-boyfriend has teased the return of Elena Gilbert to Mystic Falls.
Apparently, Ian Somerhalder told Melty that fans will "indeed be seeing Elena again."
"She's not dead," the actor revealed. "In 70 years or however long Bonnie lives, Elena will resurface at some point, although we'll be very old when that happens."
With Nina Dobrev out of the picture, Ian Somerhalder wanted fans to see how exciting "Vampire Diaries" season 7 is going to be.
"We're actually very excited about telling this story," the actor explained. "The way it was done was great. The way it was done was actually incredible, because it allows people to know that she's still there."
And while Nina Dobrev seemed to have hinted her return as well when she posted "Fasten your seatbelts. If you think you know what's coming, you don't," the actress could have very well just be talking about something else and not her return to "Vampire Diaries" season 7.
Is she talking about another show?
Apparently, Nina Dobrev has strongly becoming one of the fan favorites to play the role of Allie in Nicholas Sparks' best-selling novel, "The Notebook," which will reportedly adapted to TV series following its hit movie adaptation starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams in 2004, E! Online reported.
Pop Sugar has included Nina in the list of "The Notebook TV Show: 31 Casting Choices For Noah and Allie" by Maggie Pehanick.
"Now that Dobrev has exited The Vampire Diaries, she may be looking for a new role! OK, probably not on another drama on The CW, but a girl (me) can dream," Pehanick wrote.
While her casting has yet to be made official, it's not impossible for Dobrev to appear in the show as CW execs previously expressed their desire to work with Nina again.
"We would have loved Nina to stay," CW president Mike Pedowitz previously said, as quoted by People. "She did a great job for the six years she was on the show. She is welcome back any time she wants to come back."

Nina Dobrev And Austin Stowell Engaged? ‘TVD’ Star Looking Good At ‘The Final Girls’ Premiere

It looks like Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell are planning to get married soon.
The Inquistr reported that the couple is growing closer and becoming more intimate. The pair's latest public displays of affection were during the New York Fashion Week party.
There are speculations that Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell's romance is just for show in order to stop the rumors that "The Vampire Diaries" actress is still in love with her ex-boyfriend. Some also suggest that Dobrev is trying to compete with Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed's relationship.
However, there are those who think that the relationship between Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell is real. According to E! News, the couple were looking very happy together and acting really cute.
"You can tell how much they love each other just by the way they speak and their mannerisms toward one another," a source said. "Austin is such a gentleman and treats Nina with such respect."
If this keeps up, it seems like fans will witness the engagement and marriage of Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell. However, there may be a chance that the "TVD" actress will decline similar to Ian Somerhalder's alleged proposal to her previously.
The "TVD" star looked awesome as she attended the premiere of her film "The Final Girls" at the Toronto International Film Festival last Saturday. Surprisingly, her boyfriend was absent and she had no date for the event.
The actress wore a black knee-length dress. It was detailed with a daring slashed neckline and an almost keyhole cutout. A black diagonal band was featured across her chest and in the waistband of her outfit. She paired it with a pair of navy velvet high-heeled sandals with lattice straps.

Nina Dobrev ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Reunion; Gets Married to Austin Stowell?

Wedding rumors have been circling Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell after they were spotted super sweet in multiple occasions recently.
The couple was photographed feeding each other at Eli Mizrahi’s Founding Member launch dinner party at the SKY Vault Penthouse in New York City last week. They looked at bliss as they fed each other with cookies with their faces printed on them, Hollywood Life reported.
Dobrev was in a white crop top that she gorgeously paired with blue blazer and pants, while Stowell looked regally handsome in his blue suit, E! Online described.
Nina, 26, and the 30-year-old “Whiplash” actor were also spotted together at a Fashion Week party last week.
An insider told E! Online, “You can tell how much they love each other just by the way they speak and their mannerisms toward one another. Austin is such a gentleman and treats Nina with such respect.”
Back in July, Nina and Austin also showed some PDA moments during their vacation at St. Tropez. But the couple had slown down since.
The couple, who has been dating since summer, has been spotted in lots of PDA amid a tweet that was posted on Ian Somerhalder’s Twitter account that said “i lOVE U @ninadobrev.” It was later revealed that Ian’s account has been hacked.
Dobrev and Somerhalder were former lovers and co-stars in “The Vampire Diaries.” Nina broke up with Ian in May 2013 and has since left “TVD”. Somerhalder is now married to “Twilight” star, Nikki Reed.
Since leaving TVD, Nina has been reportedly scouting for movie roles but it seems that she has been having a hard time getting one. Although she can return to the CW drama series, Nina has shown no interest of coming back to “The Vampire Diaries.”
Ian, on the other hand, also hinted that the upcoming season seven of TVD may be his last with the CW drama series.
While Nina will probably never return to the show, she did reunite with her co-stars recently. The actress attended the wedding of her co-star Kayla Ewell to long-time boyfriend, Tanner Novlan.
Will Nina follow the footsteps of her former co-star and tie the knot soon? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

Nina Dobrev Ian Somerhalder Nikki Reed Update: Actor's 'I Love You' Tweet For Ex-GF Was Hacker's Fault

Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, and Nikki Reed have consistently been on the headlines.
Although the former "The Vampire Diaries" couple are now dating other people, one of them may not have moved on from the other after all.
Hollywood Life has reported that Somerhalder may have taken to social media to declare his undying love for his former girlfriend. Either he is having second thoughts with his married life with Reed, or his Twitter account was hacked on Sept. 15.
"I love you @ninadobrev," Somerhalder allegedly wrote - plain and simple. This social media post has since been taken down, but not before multiple online outlets managed to grab a screen shot of it. Before Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder shippers go crazy about their idols getting back together - something that Nikki Reed is surely not going to like - it looks like the actor's tweet was only a result of a social media hack.
According to the report, Somerhalder's Twitter page was barraged with a series of bizarre tweets, but the one about his former girlfriend Dobrev was the one that took the cake. Just Jared has confirmed that the account was hacked around 9:45 PM EST, as the hacker had no boundaries in posting 15 tweets.
Apart from the tweet that the hacker meant for Dobrev, the hacker also posted, "hacked by @clou9nin3," "Can someone get me in contact with Ian, please," "Who even is Ian Somerhalder?" and "'Mr. Robot' is a fantastic TV series." After 20 minutes of hacking Somerhalder's account, the hacker wrote, "I am so sorry."
The "I love you" tweet that he gave Dobrev was very strange, considering that Somerhalder has always informed the press about his happy marriage to Reed. "It is the most incredible thing to be happy and secure in something," he said. "It is a pretty crazy time and place to bring a child into this turbulent and insane world! I cannot really wait to do it and really just love it!"

Nina Dobrev Trying to Make Ian Somerhalder Jealous With Austin Stowell?

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder have long called it quits and moved on with their lives, but fans are still hoping for a reunion of some sort between the former couple. Somerhalder recently tied the knot with Nikki Reed while Dobrev has been seen packing on the PDA with boyfriend Austin Stowell. Is Dobrev only hanging out with Stowell for the sake of publicity? Read on to learn more about this scoop.
Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell have been out and about since they first sparked dating rumors in June. While the new couple has been spotted packing on the PDA countless times, a new report from Hollywood Take seemingly hinted on the possibility that Dobrev and Stowell may be getting engaged soon.
According to the report, Stowell and Dobrev were recently spotted at the New York Fashion Week, wherein a source claimed that the couple was “sitting close and acting really cute.” Just recently, the couple attended Kayla Ewell and Tanner Novlan’s wedding and looked inseparable and smitten with each other.
However, another report from Inquisitr seemingly noted on the possibility that the 26-year-old actress’ new relationship is only a way to compete with her ex-boyfriend, Ian Somerhalder. According to the outlet, many fans took notice of Dobrev’s PDA photos with Stowell, which seem like “The Vampire Diaries” actress is trying too hard to prove that she has moved on from Somerhalder.
Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev have called it quits in 2013 but fans remain hopeful that the two would reunite in some way – whether in front of the cameras or in real life. Even while Somerhalder exchanged vows with Reed in April, the newlywed couple continues to be the subject of headlines involving Dobrev.
Will Nina Dobrev find her happily ever after with Austin Stowell? And will this finally put an end to the never-ending speculations surrounding her and Ian Somerhalder?

Ian Somerhalder Baby Plans: Wants To Prove He & Nikki Reed Are Happier Than Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell?

Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell are reportedly doing so well in their relationship.
According to sources who have been around the celebrity couple, the two can't seem to get enough of each other and they are allegedly not shy in letting it show.
"Shortly after Dobrev quit TVD (The Vampire Diaries), she and Austin took a vacation to St. Tropez where they happily flaunted their romance with passionate kissing, embracing, and sexy swims in the pristine ocean," Celeb Dirty Laundry recalled.
"Nina and Austin made sure paparazzi got plenty of pictures of their tropical trip," the report continued.
Some speculate that Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell may be faking their PDA to distance the former "The Vampire Diaries" actress from her former leading man and ex-boyfriend, Ian Somerhalder who's now married to Nikki Reed.
After all, Nina Dobrev's name has still been connected to Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed even though the former Elena Gilbert actress has left "The Vampire Diaries" for months now.
If Nina Dobrev is using Austin Stowell to disassociate herself from her former flame, then it doesn't seem to be working.
However, some speculate that her romance with Austin Stowell may have caused an unintentional effect: is Ian Somerhalder trying to prove that he's happier than his ex-girlfriend by flaunting that he and Nikki Reed are trying to have a baby?
"It's the most incredible thing to be happy and secure in something," Ian Somerhalder told Entertainment Tonight. "It's a pretty crazy time and place to bring a child into this turbulent and insane world -- but I really can't wait to do it and really just love it."
Some fans were surprised over "The Vampire Diaires" stars' sudden spontaneity about his baby plans. After all, he and Nikki Reed have been particular about protecting the privacy of their relationship.

Ian Somerhalder Can’t Wait to Have Children With Nikki Reed

“It’s the most incredible thing to be happy and secure in something”, he told ET. Considering the two JUST got married in May after nine months of dating, we wouldn’t be surprised if they decide to pop out some little ones ASAP!
Many fans believe Ian Somerhalder is going to be a great father someday, considering how ready he is to take on this next chapter of his life.
Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are allegedly on the brink of getting a divorce following rumors that “The Vampire Diaries” star is pressuring his wife to have kids.
It has been reported that Reed feels threatened for the possible comeback of Nina Dobrev, Somerhalder’s ex-girlfriend, to the show. Sources close to the couple claimed that Reed is still not ready to have a baby as she still wants to prioritize her career. By quitting “The Vampire Diaries” Ian will be distanced from the stigma of his past with Dobrev.
Nikki is actually savvy when it comes to navigating Hollywood.
Nikki just landed a part on “Sleepy Hollow” as Betsy Ross – a series regular.
Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder attend the 2015 CMT Music awards at the Bridgestone Arena on June 10, 2015 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Reports claimed that since Nina Dobrev left “The Vampire Diaries“, her career is still unsuccessful. Plus, “Sleep Hollow” isn’t shy getting rid of series regulars, cutting 3 major characters by the end of season 2.
Neither Somerhalder nor Reed have commented on the new rumors, but it doesn’t seem as if the actor is interested in leaving “The Vampire Diaries” at the moment.
With their differences in opinion, could Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed fix their marriage before it’s too late? As long as Ian is still on TVD, he will always be known as Nina’s ex-boyfriend and not Nikki’s husband.

Ian Somerhalder Wants Kids NOW, Almost 40 Years Old – Nikki Reed Unwilling to Sacrifice Career as the Couple Fight Over Future

Ian Somerhalder is ready to have children. In fact, ‘The Vampire Diaries’ star wants to have kids now, but his wife, Nikki Reed, is unwilling to sacrifice her career. The divide in their goals are causing Nikki and Ian to fight over their future, which is causing problems behind the scenes of the couple’s seemingly constantly happy relationship.
Nikki and Ian love to fill their social feeds with photos of themselves smiling, appearing incredibly happy together along with messages that support their passion of animal rights. However, there is a topic that is causing a rift in Somerhalder and Reed’s relationship…and it’s not Nina Dobrev.
Ian Somerhalder’s desires to get married and start a family were actually the reason Nina dumped up Ian after dating for a few years. Nina, who is just 26, wasn’t ready for marriage and children. Then, after being friends with both Dobrev and Somerhalder, Nikki Reed stepped in and was ready to commit. Now that Ian is 36 and staring down 40, the TVD star wants to start a family ASAP answering ET’s question about becoming a dad with an emphatic, ““Oh, hell yes! Absolutely!”
There just seems to be one problem with Ian Somerhalder’s baby plans. His wife, Nikki Reed, who is just one year older than Nina, is focused on her career and is even pushing Ian to quit ‘The Vampire Diaries’ to pursue movie roles.
Nikki just landed a part on ‘Sleepy Hollow’ as Betsy Ross – a series regular. There is no way Reed will want to jeopardize her brand new role any time soon. Especially when series co-creator/EP Len Wiseman told THR that he was looking use a vixen for the role saying, “Nikki’s the perfect choice to bring a smart and sexy edge to our show’s twisted version of American icon, Betsy Ross.” A pregnant Betsy Ross wouldn’t be sexy and trying to hide a baby bump while sexualizing the character would be a challenging. Plus, ‘Sleep Hollow’ isn’t shy getting rid of series regulars, cutting 3 major characters by the end of season 2.
Nikki is actually savvy when it comes to navigating Hollywood. Having a baby right now would not be wise for her career, especially after rocketing toward stardom after her ‘Twilight’ success. Even pushing Ian Somerhalder to quit ‘The Vampire Diaries’ is a move toward branding herself. As long as Ian is still on TVD, he will always be known as Nina’s ex-boyfriend and not Nikki’s husband.
What do you think of Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed’s baby plans? Will Nikki ever be ready to have a baby? Will Ian quit ‘The Vampire Diaries’?

Ian Somerhalder Leaves ‘The Vampire Diaries’ for ‘Fifty Shades Darker’?

After “Batman Vs. Superman” star Henry Cavill debunked rumors about joining “Fifty Shades Darker,” it has been reported that actor Ian Somerhalder will leave “The Vampire Diaries” for the upcoming erotic film.
In a previous report it was revealed that Somerhalder might consider the role of Jack Hyde. But this time, his wife, Nikki Reed, is allegedly pushing him to quit the TV series and join E.L. James and the “Fifty Shades” team, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported.
The site noted that the possible reason Reed is urging Somerhalder to leave the show is to get rid of his ex-girlfriend, Nina Dobrev, which was also part of “TVD.”
Both Reed and Ian haven’t said anything about the news, so nothing has been confirmed as of this moment. However, Somerhalder’s fans would like him to play as Jack Hyde as well. Aside from Ian, another star that is rumored to be portraying the role is the “Divergent” actor Theo James.
In other news, “Fifty Shades” lead actor Jamie Dornan is allegedly cheating on his wife, Amelia Warner.
“After posing for a photo with one blond, he kissed her on the cheek as she tousled his hair. He asked another girl, ‘How do you say you have beautiful eyes’ in Czech?” an insider revealed on Star Magazine, quotes another Celeb Dirty Laundry report.
“We were making bets on who he would go home with. We had no idea he was married!”
As a result, his wife reportedly wants him to leave the film and Dornan might bid his goodbye to his role as Christian Grey.
However, according to his representative, “All press reports are pure conjecture as the studio has not committed to a sequel as yet,” E! News cited, suggesting that Dornan would not leave the “Fifty Shades” trilogy.
Stay tuned for more “Fifty Shades Darker” update.

Nina Dobrev, Austin Stowell So In Love: Couple Super Sweet During Eli Mizrahi's Founding Member Dinner Party

Hollywood couple Nina Dobrev and boyfriend Austin Stowell continue to show just how sweet they can be. The two stars recently attended a dinner party wherein they were spotted being sweet to one another.
The former “Vampire Diaries” star and Stowell attended Eli Mizrahi's Founding Member launch dinner party held at the SKY Vault Penthouse on Tuesday night. A source told E!News that the couple looked very happy together and that they sat close to each other. The eyewitness added that Dobrev and Stowell were “acting really cute” during the dinner party.
Dobrev reportedly took her boyfriend Stowell to the Founding Member event to support Mizrahi and his new collection. The actress looked gorgeous during the party in her white crop top which she partnered with a blue blazer and matching pants. Stowell also donned a blue tailored suit to match his girlfriend’s look.
The E! source shared that the couple took “really cute photos together” with #CookieSelfie boxes available during the event. The box contained cookies which had pictures of the guest’s face on it. Mizrahi reportedly had this ordered so that party guests could take a bite out of his or her face.
Aside from the Wednesday Founding Member event, Dobrev and the “Whiplash” actor were also seen during Tuesday’s Fashion Week party. An insider told E! that Stowell was “such as gentleman” and that the actor “treats Nina with such respect."
The source added, "You can tell how much they love each other just by the way they speak and their mannerisms toward one another.”
Stowell and Dobrev started dating in June, as confirmed by Us Weekly sources. At the time, the two were seen getting cozy at the Hallmark Shoebox Relaunch in West Hollywood. “They looked super comfortable and happy together,” shared the insider, before adding that the pair even shared a kiss during their date.
Dobrev previously dated her “The Vampire Diaries” co-star Ian Somerhalder for three years, before they split in May 2013. Somerhalder is now married to Nikki Reed.

'The Vampire Diaries' Season 7 Spoilers: Bonnie Feels Guilty Over Elena's Condition

Elena Gilbert's friends will definitely miss her in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7. However, Bonnie Bennett (Kat Graham), Elena's witch best friend, is the person who will be the most affected with Elena's condition in the upcoming new season of the CW TV series.
In Entertainment Weekly's Spoiler Room report, TVD executive producer Julie Plec teased that Bonnie will feel guilty with what happened to Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) in the finale episode of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6. "She has survivor's remorse," Plec told EW.

However, Bonnie does not want to be punished for Elena's condition after villain Kai Parker (Chris Wood) used a spell that links her life to Elena's. Kai wanted to get back at Bonnie for leaving him in the prison world of Lily Salvatore (Annie Wersching) and the Heretics.
Bonnie and Matt (Zach Roerig) watched in horror as Kai explained in a video how the linking spell works. "The rule is, as long as you're alive, Elena will remain asleep," Kai stated.
Kai further explained that both Bonnie and Elena will die if Bonnie tries to do something to get rid of his linking spell. In the upcoming new season, Plec further teased that Bonnie will try to take a stand against the people who would make her feel bad about staying alive.
Meanwhile, Plec admitted that Elena's absence has cleared the way a little more for the other female TVD characters. Plec explained that Bonnie and Caroline (Candice Accola) were already Mystic Falls heroes in their own rights so their roles are now allowed to have more room to breathe while Elena is sleeping.
Plec also promised that "The Vampire Diaries" will still keep Elena's presence alive. Plec explained that the idea of seeing Elena again when she wakes up is very present in Caroline, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and especially Damon's life.
Plec told EW that each of them will deal with the idea in their own ways so the show will pay tribute to Elena. "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 will premiere on Thursday night, Oct. 8, at 8/7c on the CW Network.

Nina Dobrev “Welcome Back” to ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Whenever She Wants

As much as we respect her decision, Nina Dobrev broke our hearts when she decided to leave The Vampire Diaries after five years as the central character. And, with Season 7 looming in the near future, we’re wondering if there’s any hope for her return.

The more important question here, though, is if she’d even be welcome back on the show. Luckily it sounds like, should she ever decide to come back, The CW would be OK with it.
“We would have loved Nina to stay,” Mark Pedowitz, the president of the network, said back at the network’s Television Critics Association panel. “She did a great job for the six years she was on the show. She is welcome back anytime she wants to come back.”
Us viewers know Elena Gilbert’s storyline was left completely open for Nina to potentially awake from her semi-eternal slumber. Kai Parker put a spell on Elena which tied her life to that of BFF witch Bonnie Bennett and made it impossible for the two to co-exist.
We’ve long suspected this plot twist was made so that Elena could return in the series finale and reunite with Damon Salvatore to give a last one-two punch to our shipper hearts.

The Vampire Diaries Season 7 premieres Thursday, October 8, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.

Ian Somerhalder-Nina Dobrev relationship update: 'The Vampire Diaries' star confesses his love to ex?

Fans of "The Vampire Diaries" star Ian Somerhalder and his ex-girlfriend Nina Dobrev rejoiced for some time after they read a Twitter message of the actor confessing his love for her.
The message, which was posted on Tuesday, 15 September, read: "i lOVE U @ninadobrev".
However, the excitement of their followers, who are curiously waiting to see the former celebrity couple together, did not last for long as it was revealed that the 36-year-old actor's social media account was hacked.
The Twitter account of Somerhalder was reportedly hacked at around 7pm on Tuesday and the hacker apparently posted several hilarious messages on the page for about 20 minutes, according to Just Jared.
The series of messages, which began with "Iam so sorry", ended with a tweet informing the social media users that the account had been hacked. "hacked by @clou9nin3", a message read. The messages ranged from, "Mr Robot is a fantastic tv series" to "before I get locked out I just wanna say this has been a great experience".
But none of the messages are visible on Twitter now. So it can be assumed that "The Vampire Diaries" star deleted the posts from his social media page after realising that his account had been hacked. The last tweet on the page was posted a few hours ago and it is a good night message, which read: "Good night beautiful world... ;)".
Meanwhile, a reunion between Somerhalder and his former lover Dobrev seems unlikely as the actor recently spoke about his plans to have a baby with wife Nikki Reed. "It's the most incredible thing to be happy and secure in something. It's a pretty crazy time and place to bring a child into this turbulent and insane world — but I really can't wait to do it and really just love it," The Hollywood Reporter quoted him as saying.

Nina Dobrev reunites with ‘The Vampire Diaries’ cast at former co-star Kayla Ewell's wedding

Nina Dobrev has reunited with her “The Vampire Diaries” co-stars but not on the set of the CW TV series in Atlanta, Georgia. Kayla Ewell, who portrayed TVD character Vicki Donovan, married her longtime boyfriend Tanner Novlan in an elegant ceremony, where some of “The Vampire Diaries” cast members were present.
Dobrev, who portrayed TVD character Elena Gilbert, and her boyfriend Austin Stowell attended Ewell’s wedding ceremony which was held last Saturday, Sept. 12, at the Jonathan Club in Los Angeles. Just Jared reports that Dobrev was spotted with Stowell as they made their way to Ewell’s wedding.
On her way to the wedding ceremony, Dobrev was spotted wearing the same dress that she wore when she attended the 2015 Creative Arts Emmy Awards earlier in the day at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. MTV reports that Dobrev was able to spend some time with people whom she worked with in “The Vampire Diaries” during Ewell’s wedding ceremony.
The other TVD cast members in attendance include Ewell’s on-screen brother Zach Roerig (Matt Donovan), Michael Trevino (Tyler Lockwood), Sara Canning (Aunt Jenna Sommers) and Candice Accola (Caroline Forbes), who served as one of the bridesmaids. Ewell told People during an exclusive interview that her TVD family is really special.
Ewell recounted that she was also a witness when TVD co-star Candice Accola married guitarist Joe King of the rock band The Fray. “When you go through that with someone, you have a bond with them afterwards that is unlike any other feeling,” Ewell says of Accola.
Ewell looked stunning in her Monique Lhuillhier wedding gown while Accola wore an empire waist Jenny Yoo dress that allowed the pregnant TVD star to show off her growing baby bump. Ewell further shared that they chose the Jonathan Club as the venue for their wedding day because it meant a lot to her after spending a lot of family time at the location.
Meanwhile, Zach Roerig and Candice Accola will still return as Matt Donovan and Caroline Forbes in “The Vampire Diaries” Season 7. The CW TV series’ new season, which premieres on Thursday night, Oct. 8, will carry on after Nina Dobrev’s exit in the previous season with the fresh storyline involving the Heretics, the new vampire-witch villains in Mystic Falls.

''The Final Girls''

Nina Dobrev turns heads as she flashes toned legs in baby blue maxi skirt slashed at the thigh at Creative Arts Emmy Awards

She routinely excels in the style department.
And Saturday was no different for Nina Dobrev, who displayed her sublime sartorial sense once again at the 2015 Creative Arts Emmy Awards in downtown Los Angeles.
The 26-year-old was picture perfect in a chic black tank top and baby blue maxi skirt that was slashed at the thigh, exposing her long leg to full effect.

Leggy lady: Nina Dobrev displayed her fashion prowess in a black tank top and baby blue skirt at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday
The floor length number had classic pristine pearl buttons, sewn from the edge of her waistline and just above her thigh-high slit.
She carried a petite and rounded silver clutch in her hands, while diverting from the elegance with her jazzy black-and-white footwear that added a retro touch.
Going for a dramatic look, the former Vampire Diaries star parted her hair at the side, while sweeping the remainder over her head in an elegant 'do.

Nina appeared to be in top spirits as she posed beautifully for photographers and snapped selfies with Julianne Hough and her fiancĂ© Brooks Laich.
While Nina's former show The Vampire Diaries was not up for any nominations, the star's career is currently in the midst of evolution following her departure from the show.
Nina's character Elena Gilbert was written off the CW soap following six years on the show in May.

The actress revealed on Instagram that she would be parting ways with the role in April.
Months following the shocking announcement, Nina nabbed the the Choice TV Actress: Sci-fi/Fantasy at the Teen Choice Awards for her role, where she talked abut 'change' and 'new beginnings' as she thanked fans for the honour.
'Change is necessary,' the brunette beauty said at the event in August.

'It's necessary for you to grow and to learn and to better yourself. Because everything in your life comes to an end. And, as this chapter in my life comes to an end, I look back at it with a grateful heart, and I smile.'
The TV icon also said, 'So the last two months have been a pretty big change for me. Change. It's a scary word – or at least I used to think that – because it meant new beginnings, new beginnings with a future that's unknown.'
She told The Hollywood Reporter: 'The fairy tale has to end, and the next chapter has to begin. I knew this was my time, and I'm excited for the next step.'
Nina's next film The Final Girls hits US theaters in October.

Nikki Reed Wants Ian Somerhalder to Focus on Movies and Move Away from Ex Nina Dobrev?

"The Vampire Diaries" actor Ian Somerhalder is reportedly being considered for the role of Jack Hyde in "Fifty Shades Darker", the sequel to "Fifty Shades of Grey".
The actor hasn't commented on this latest casting rumour yet, but according to a new Celeb Dirty Laundry report, his wife Nikki Reed is keen to have Somerhalder cast in the movie. Reed wants Somerhalder to move on from "The Vampire Diaries" and cut off any ties with Nina Dobrev, his ex girlfriend who was also his co-star and on-screen love interest in the vampire drama, the report noted.
Dobrev and Somerhalder dated for about three years before calling it quits in mid 2013.
"Nikki won't forget that fact, and wants to distance her husband from TVD and the stigma of Dobrev. Until Ian moves on, Reed knows Somerhalder will always be seen as 'Nina Dobrev's ex' and not 'Nikki Reed's husband' in the public eye," the gossip website said.
If this casting rumour turns out to be true, then Somerhalder will be seen in "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed" where he will play the role of Jack Hyde.
In the books by E.L. James, which is the inspiration for the "Fifty Shades" movie series, Jack Hyde is a former Commissioning Editor at Seattle Independent Publishing (SIP) where Ana Steele works.
Interestingly, another actor who was rumoured to be considered for the role was "Batman V Superman" star Henry Cavill.
"Basically what I can say is I can't say anything about it right now," Cavill said, when talking to E!News about a possible role in "Fifty Shades Darker."
However, he later clarified that he was just messing with fans. "I'm not in 'Fifty Shades of Grey.' I'm for real. I'm just messing with everyone," he said, according to Mirror. "The first time around, everyone was asking, 'Are you Christian Grey?' I went 'No!' But no one believed him.
"This time around, everyone is now still convinced I'm part of the series. Now the question is, 'Are you going to be in 'Fifty Shades Darker. ' And I thought, I'm going to try a different tact this time. See what they say. And so I tried a different tact."

Look Nina Dobrev! Ian Somerhalder’s Wife Nikki Reed, ‘Vampire Diaries’ Costar Kat Graham Are BFFs!

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder's real-life romance may have been key to the success of The CW's "The Vampire Diaries." However, their relationship has long been over. Still, many fans can't get over the fact their favorite on- and off-cam couple is living separate lives with respective partners — Dobrev is dating Austin Stowell while Somerhalder's married to Nikki Reed.
Despite the relationships they are sharing with their respective partners, some fans continue to link Dobrev to Somerhalder and vice versa. Interestingly, last Saturday, another person got into the never-ending equation of love and hate speculations between Dobrev and Somerhalder, and it is no other than Kat Graham.
Graham plays Bonnie in "Vampire Diaries" and her character was the best friend of Dobrev's Elena Gilbert. In real life, the two actresses were also said to be good friends. However, it seems that Graham has found another BFF in Somerhalder's wife. On the 26th birthday of the Swiss-born American actress, Reed took the time to post a sweet photo of her and Graham on Instagram and greet the latter with a short but meaningful message as caption to the snap.
"Happy birthday to this beautiful zen goddess. Kat, you have touched many lives, you have made many smile. Your heart is so open, so willing to love while also knowing how to love yourself. Your truth is always heard, and your inability to stray from that is remarkable. I love you sweet lady. To say I am grateful for you is an understatement. The world is blessed to have you. @katgrahampics," Reed, who as per Variety recently bought a Venice contemporary estate for $2.58 million with her hubby, wrote in her post which received more than sixty thousand likes from her followers.
Although the post was intended to show her good relationship to her husband's costar, it seems that some fans couldn't help but compare Dobrev and Reed yet again. Good thing Reed's supporters came to her defense in the face of Nina fans giving their two cents that the ex-"TVD" star is a whole lot better than the "Twilight" star.
Instagram user amari_linson even pointed out the obvious amid the online exchange between fans of the two actresses: "Lol its alright alot of ppl bash nikki cause of what happened. Its very dumb cause everybodys over it except the fans (sic)."
Meanwhile, though Dobrev may appear to have forgotten to greet Graham on her special day via Instagram or Twitter, the actress seemed to be unfazed by the fan wars every now and then. She continues to update her social media accounts with throwback photos and meaningful posts. She even promoted her latest project "The Final Girls," which is set to hit theaters on Oct. 9, on Instagram.
As for Graham, she previously admitted that her co-actor’s departure from the series was “very bittersweet,” so this could mean that she is on good terms with Somerhalder's ex. The actress was even quoted as saying by Us Weekly: “We’re all family, and you always want to stay together forever, but everyone has their journey, and all you can do is wish them well and support them. This was a decision that I know was made a long, long time ago. I’m just excited for her, and to see what’s next.”
Also, it seems that "Vampire Diaries" is also doing just fine without its lead actress. Kaitlin Thomas of TV.com even noted that from the looks of the new season's promotional clip, the Mystic Falls characters are moving on, even Damon is making jokes despite the new dangers that await him and the gang in the all-new season.
There is even the noticeable shift from the love story-centric storyline to one that simply focuses on the Salvatore brothers and the rest of the characters. Damon and Stefan's mother, Lily, is also around, so this could perhaps bring in a more family-centered theme to the series just like its spinoff, "The Originals."

The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Trailer and Photos: Damon and Stefan Fight Against the Heretics

Fans worried that The Vampire Diaries is going to be different without Nina Dobrev’s Elena should feel somewhat reassured after checking out the trailer and photos for the CW drama’s upcoming seventh season. Because even though Elena is not around to help her friends out, there’s still plenty of the same old craziness happening in Mystic Falls, and this time around it’s courtesy of Damon and Stefan’s mother Lily (Annie Wersching) and her Heretic family.
And amidst all of the bloody violence and vampire chaos, there still looks to be time for romance (as Stefan and Caroline share a kiss), friendship (Damon and Bonnie are still bonding), and humor (Damon delivers one of his signature one-liners at the very end of the trailer). As I said above, it all feels very much like The Vampire Diaries, particularly the darker and more dangerous early years of the show, which is the tone and style that Ian Somerhalder told us the series would be returning to in Season 7.
The Vampire Diaries Season 7 premieres on Thursday, Oct. 8, at 8 p.m. on The CW. Check out the trailer and photos below:

'The Vampire Diaries' Season 7 Spoilers: Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley Talk Damon-Stefan-Lily Relationship

Nina Dobrev's Elena is no longer actively involved in making Mystic Falls a place where the supernatural beings such as the vampires, and humans can co-exist, thanks to Kai.
The Big Bad of season 6 made sure Elena will stay out of trouble for at least six decades by casting a sleeping spell on her, and now it's up to her friends to make sure that the new villains, the Heretics, do not ruin their hometown.
The Heretics are back to the land of the living after nearly 100 years of being trapped in a prison world, and getting accustomed to life in Mystic Falls is surely going to take time.
This will result in them doing some pretty horrible stuff, and Caroline and Stefan will be entrusted with the task of cleaning up after them. "There's some funny adjusting at first — they're waking up 100 years in the future where there are iPhones, computers and all that — but there's also some darkness going on," Elizabeth Blackmore, who plays Heretic Valerie, told TVLine.
The focus of season 7 is going to be the relationship of the Salvatore brothers – Damon and Stefan – with their mother Lily, something that has been strained ever since they found out she left them voluntarily.
Will she still be their enemy? "She's not [Stefan's] enemy, but she's not totally his mom," actor Paul Wesley explained. "She's definitely not on his side, and he doesn't trust her, but he has more empathy for her than Damon has."
Ian Somerhalder, who plays elder brother Damon Salvatore, said her children are not going to like being treated as "bastard children."
"It's not cool at all that she left us and had this entirely new family that we're not even a part of. She treats us like we're outcasts, like we're the bastard children. There area lot of dynamics floating around, so I don't know where Damon's going to go from here," Somerhalder said.
"The Vampire Diaries" will return to the CW in October.
