Nina Dobrev turns heads as she flashes toned legs in baby blue maxi skirt slashed at the thigh at Creative Arts Emmy Awards

She routinely excels in the style department.
And Saturday was no different for Nina Dobrev, who displayed her sublime sartorial sense once again at the 2015 Creative Arts Emmy Awards in downtown Los Angeles.
The 26-year-old was picture perfect in a chic black tank top and baby blue maxi skirt that was slashed at the thigh, exposing her long leg to full effect.

Leggy lady: Nina Dobrev displayed her fashion prowess in a black tank top and baby blue skirt at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday
The floor length number had classic pristine pearl buttons, sewn from the edge of her waistline and just above her thigh-high slit.
She carried a petite and rounded silver clutch in her hands, while diverting from the elegance with her jazzy black-and-white footwear that added a retro touch.
Going for a dramatic look, the former Vampire Diaries star parted her hair at the side, while sweeping the remainder over her head in an elegant 'do.

Nina appeared to be in top spirits as she posed beautifully for photographers and snapped selfies with Julianne Hough and her fiancé Brooks Laich.
While Nina's former show The Vampire Diaries was not up for any nominations, the star's career is currently in the midst of evolution following her departure from the show.
Nina's character Elena Gilbert was written off the CW soap following six years on the show in May.

The actress revealed on Instagram that she would be parting ways with the role in April.
Months following the shocking announcement, Nina nabbed the the Choice TV Actress: Sci-fi/Fantasy at the Teen Choice Awards for her role, where she talked abut 'change' and 'new beginnings' as she thanked fans for the honour.
'Change is necessary,' the brunette beauty said at the event in August.

'It's necessary for you to grow and to learn and to better yourself. Because everything in your life comes to an end. And, as this chapter in my life comes to an end, I look back at it with a grateful heart, and I smile.'
The TV icon also said, 'So the last two months have been a pretty big change for me. Change. It's a scary word – or at least I used to think that – because it meant new beginnings, new beginnings with a future that's unknown.'
She told The Hollywood Reporter: 'The fairy tale has to end, and the next chapter has to begin. I knew this was my time, and I'm excited for the next step.'
Nina's next film The Final Girls hits US theaters in October.
