Let’s be real: PSY could do a musical version of Vampire Diaries in Korean and we’d watch it. We wouldn’t understand a word of it, but as long as Elena (Nina Dobrev), Damon (Ian Somerhalder), and Stefan (Paul Wesley) were there, we’d know what the pelvic thrusts meant.
Much like a hypothetical musical, we’re going to muse about what our fave TV series hitting the big screen would be like — and we’re sure it wouldn’t be a total flop, not with as smoking a cast as we have. (To be clear, Nina Dobrev has said she doesn’t think a feature film is in the cards for our fave show.)

Here’s what we’d like to see, in a fantasy world:
- A destination outside of Mystic Falls: Not to knock the beloved
town, but if you’re going to the big screen you better go outside the
small town confines. We’re thinking vampires in Mexico or Portugal or
Florida — anywhere hot so that shirts become a burden rather than a
necessity.
- New mythology that throws a wrench into the vampire lair: a la The X-Files or X-Men,
we’d need a new threat we haven’t seen before. Something to stimulate
our minds while our eyes are feasting on larger-than-life man candy.
- Hot new mythical creatures: Be they witches, Originals, vampires, hybrids, werewolves, or something else entirely, we don’t care — just bring on some fresh movie actor meat and we’ll watch with a bucket of popcorn.
