Nina
Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder might reunite on The Vampire Diaries,
according to teasing hints by the TVD Cast. Elena left Damon in Mystic
Falls, but the cast of 'The Vampire Diaries' cast some doubt at this
weekend's Comic-Con this weekend that Nina Dobrev hasn't been staked,
she's just sleeping.
Nina recently revealed that she is done with The Vampire Diaries during her speech at 2015 Teen Choice Awards.
But now rumors are saying that Ian Somerhalder may quit The Vampire Diaries after Season 7.
Celeb Dirty Laundry theorized Nikki Reed wants to Somerhalder's almost psychic connection to Nina Dobrev.
Ian Somerhalder, appearing with his The Vampire Diaries costars Kat Graham, Candice Accola, Paul Wesley and Michael Malarkey at Comic-Con, said there is a possibility that Dobrev could return.
"She's still there, dude. She's in a casket. She's having a nap," Somerhalder told MTV at Comic-Con in San Diego.
Paul Wesley added that TVD vampires "die and come back" all the time.
"Vampire Diaries" actress Nina Dobrev has been napping since the Season 6 finale when Kai (Chris Wood) cast a spell connecting Elena and Bonnie (Kat Graham), but Candice Accola said don't write off Elena Gilbert.
"We're used of people leave the show and then coming back from the dead," Accola recently told Fashionisima magazine. "You never know what will happen."
The Vampire Diaries killed and bought back Alaric (Matt Davis) Lexi (Arielle Kebbel), Aunt Jenna (Sara Canning) and Vicki (Kayla Ewell).
"I think everything has to come to an end, man," Paul Wesley told People magazine. "First of all I'm playing a 17-year-old. I'm 32 years old. So theoretically, if I were to stay on the show for say three more years, I would be a 35 year old playing a 17 year old, which is almost double. It's more than double. It's literally more than double!"
The cast of "The Vampire Diaries" told Entertainment Weekly they miss Dobrev.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Michael Malarkey, who plays Enzo, called Nina the cast's "Queen Bee" and said she is "gonna be missed greatly. One time we were filming 'Man on Fire' in Season 5, and we have a kind of fight scene ... Nina whispered in my ear right before the take, 'Actually throw me.'"
"One of the things I've always loved doing with Nina are the fight scene, 'cause she takes it just as seriously as I do," said Accola, who plays Caroline.
Justice Leak, Jaiden Kaine, Tim Kang, and Todd Lasance will all be back when "The Vampire Diaries" returns Oct. 8 on CW.
