Is Ian Somerhalder’s Wife Nikki Reed Unhappy Over his Supposedly Reunion With Nina Dobrev in ‘The Vampire Diaries’?

It seems jealously is again taking a toll over Ian Somerhalder’s beloved wife Nikki Reed on the issue of his husband’s ex-flame Nina Dobrev joining the team of “The Vampire Diaries.” Read for more details.

Dobrev broke up with Somerhalder in 2013 and they both indulged themselves into different relationships like Dobrev started dating Austin Stowell whereas Somerhalder got involved with Reed. However, the friendship between Dobrev and Somerhalder remained unbroken though they both parted ways and this is the reason why Reed is so insecure about her husband.

Reed has a very high level of insecurity with her husband’s ex. As reported by the International Business Times, it was Reed who stopped her husband from accepting the award for the Best Kiss with Dobrev on “The Vampire Diaries” at the Teen Choice Awards. Reportedly, Reed did that to prevent an onstage kiss between the two co-stars.

Earlier this year, it was rumored that break-up with Somerhalder was the reason behind Dobrev’s decision to quit the show. However, Somerhalder cleared such news by posting a link and headline of an article on Twitter which says, “An Open Letter to Anyone Who Thinks Nina Dobrev LeftThe Vampire Diaries Because of a Breakup.”

Dobrev decided to quit the show after its sixth season and to inform all the fans she took to Instagram and wrote, “I wanted Elena’s story to be a six season adventure.” Though, Dobrev declared her role as a six season experience but the makers have something like extending the role of Elena’s character in their minds.

And if rumors are to be believed then Dobrev will be back as Elena only. However, her character will come to life when there is an end to Bonnie’s character due to Kai’s sleeping spell.

Rumors are also rife related to the split between Dobrev and Stowell, but nothing has been cleared yet from either side. It is also believed that Dobrev’s split with Stowell led to her getting closer to Somerhalder and he is happy for her break-up.

The seventh season of CW series, “The Vampire Diaries” will be scheduled to start from October 8 onwards. So, all the fans are requested to keep their fingers crossed and hope that the new season will full of interesting twists.
