Nikki Reeds Bans Ian Somerhalder’s Appearance At Teen Choice Awards Stage?

The real chemistry between Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder may be no more now, but the onscreen chemistry between them is still alive and hot. Yes, the duo won the Liplock Award for “The Vampire Diaries” at the Teen Choice Awards 2015. But it was only Dobrev who picked up the award. Read below to find out the reason.

Fans are speculating that Nikki Reed would have convinced her husband Somerhalder not to make his appearance at the Teen Choice Awards stage. But, what could be the problem of Reed that she allegedly had taken this decision? Is it only because her husband’s ex girlfriend was present there, or anything else?

Yes, it’s true that Reed never wants Somerhalder to come face to face with Dobrev. But the major possible reason for banning Somerhalder’s appearance could be the tradition for the winners of the Best Kiss Award to recreate the smooch on the big stage, and Reed knew that her husband would have to keep the tradition on the stage if the pair (Dobrev and Somerhalder) in “The Vampire Diaries” won the Best Kiss Award.

According to Venture Capital Post, Somerhalder and Dobrev won the award for Choice TV: Liplock, and fans and guests were expecting Somerhalder and Dobrev together to collect the award. But, the fans, guests and viewers were disappointed when the actor could not have his appearance on the stage and many started speculating that it was only Reed who restricted the star’s movement.

Plenty of rumors have surfaced that Reed is actually jealous of Dobrev. When Dobrev was spotted in colourful bikini with her beau Austin Stowell in mid-July enjoying a PDA-filled romance vacation in Saint Tropez followed by the South of France, Reed also allegedly tried to surpass the love birds by having a pastime with Somerhalder at a lake.
