Vampire Diaries Spoilers: Nina Dobrev says Elena will turn ‘lesbian’ over Damon’s mind games!

Nina Dobrev has teased that Elena Gilbert will become a lesbian, because of all the problems she has had with the Salvatore brothers on The Vampire Diaires.
Throughout five seasons of the hit CW drama, storylines have centred around the constant love triangle between Elena, Stefan and Damon and actress Nina thinks it’s time her alter ego took herself out of the equation altogether.
The stunning actress joined her real life ex boyfriend Ian Somerhalder and executive producer Julie Plec for a panel at PaleyFest on Saturday and spoke about the closing scenes of the most recent episode.
Despite admitting that they were awful for each other and destine to cause each other pain, Elena and Damon ended up ripping each other’s clothes off and sleeping together again.
Nina thinks it’s time for writers to bring the storyline to an abrupt end and joked:
“After all the things these boys have done to her, she’s going to be a lesbian.”
Meanwhile Julie admitted that fans of Delena shouldn’t get too comfortable, because Gilbert and Stefan could reunite at anytime.
Plec explained that there will always be a pull between the vampires and continued:
“We dig deep into this idea of the universe drawing them together. It leads Elena and Stefan to a lot of conversations to their love story and free will.”
