Ian Somerhalder is a top choice amongst fans for the role of Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, but could his new movie, Anomaly, get in the way?
Somerhalder is currently in London filming Anomaly and will be there for the summer. The Fifty Shades of Grey movie has yet to begin filming and hasn;t even selected a director let alone lead actors.
Anomaly is set to hit theaters in 2014 and Fifty Shades of Grey is slated for a summer 2014 release, which could cause a scheduling conflict. Somerhalder would also probably have to return to the states to begin filming the next season of Vampire Diaries soon as well.
Whether Somerhalder is in danger of losing the Grey role because of scheduling issues remains to be seen.
Other actors wanted for the role are Matt Bomer, Chris Hemsworth and Robert Pattinson.
